Remote Work\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

So many new and evolving ideas about <\/span>remote and hybrid work design<\/b> are flying through the airwaves these days: This <\/span>New Yorker article<\/a> discusses technology entrepreneur Chris Herd\u2019s unique ideas in detail<\/span>:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn Herd\u2019s vision, which he calls a <\/span>remote-first strategy<\/b>, relevant teams gather less frequently\u2014he suggests once a month as a good interval\u2014in varying locations\u2026.\u201cWe have people in Belgium and the U.K., in the U.S. from the East Coast to the West,\u201d he said….He even imagines a future in which <\/span>specialized resorts<\/b> will arise in locations conducive to brainstorming or strategy formation…work[ing] with the help of <\/span>professional on-site facilitators<\/b>. These semi-frequent off-site gatherings might sound expensive\u2026.but, Herd suggested, they\u2019re cheaper than maintaining a permanent space for everyone, and such meetings would <\/span>support much of what\u2019s lost in a purely virtual strategy<\/b>.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
